COOKIE POLICY
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a web server when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to recognize your device on return visits and remember information about your preferences and activity.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and session tokens to support platform functionality, measure marketing performance, and understand how the Services are used. These technologies operate in the same way as cookies for the purposes of this Policy.
2. How Pitstop Uses Cookies
Pitstop uses cookies to:
- Maintain your session as you navigate the platform
- Remember your login state and account preferences
- Understand how users interact with the platform and our marketing pages so we can improve them
- Measure the performance of our marketing campaigns, including through advertising partners such as LinkedIn
- Monitor platform security and detect unauthorized activity
We do not use cookies to sell your personal data. Where advertising cookies are used, this is limited to measuring and improving our own marketing campaigns, as set out below.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, and security. The platform cannot operate properly without them. No consent is required to place essential cookies.
Functional (Preference) Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make, such as language and display settings, to provide a more personalized experience. They are not strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the platform and our website, which pages are visited most frequently, and where errors occur. We use Amplitude, an EU-based analytics provider, for this purpose. Unlike a fully anonymous analytics tool, our analytics data is linked to an individual identifier, currently your email address where available, which we also use for support and account-related purposes. Amplitude also provides session replay, which records on-page activity; this runs across our website and the logged-in platform. Our retention periods and data masking settings for Amplitude are being finalized and will be reflected here once confirmed.
Advertising Cookies
These cookies are placed by our advertising partners, such as LinkedIn, on our marketing website. They help us measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and understand engagement with our content, such as AI GTM Lab Workflow Packs. Our advertising partners may also process data collected through these cookies for their own purposes as independent controllers, as described in their own privacy policies.
4. Cookies We Use
Analytics cookies are set by Amplitude. Advertising cookies are set by LinkedIn. The exact names and lifetimes of third-party cookies are controlled by those providers and may change; current details are available in Amplitude's privacy policy and LinkedIn's cookie policy. Amplitude is an EU-based provider and processes this data within the EEA. Data collected by LinkedIn, or any other provider processing data outside the EEA, is transferred with safeguards as described in the International Data Transfers section of our Privacy Policy.
Note: This list reflects cookies currently in use. It is updated when cookies are added, modified, or removed. If you have questions about a specific cookie not listed here, please contact us at support@takeapitstop.com.
5. Managing and Disabling Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for the most common browsers are below.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
Please note that disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to log in and use the platform. Disabling functional, analytics, or advertising cookies will not prevent core platform functionality.
For more information about cookies and how to manage them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
6. Your Cookie Choices
Essential cookies are placed automatically, as they are strictly necessary for the Services to function. You can manage other cookies at any time through your browser settings, as described in Section 5 above, or by contacting us at support@takeapitstop.com.
No uniform standard has been adopted for "Do Not Track" browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated Policy will be posted with a revised date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
